From our traditional nautical Irish Pub to our large open courtyard bar area,
overlooked by the castle walls, there's a spot for everyone here!
We have a full bar and wine list and serve a large range of Irish craft beers and spirits, including the locally produced Dungarvan Brewing Company and Metalman beers, Blackwater Gin and Muldoons Whiskey.
Our traditional Maritime Irish Pub greets you at the entrance with a warm and relaxing atmosphere, the perfect place to enjoy a few drinks and chat with the locals! The cosy bar area expands in to our modern nautically inspired lounge area which resembles the bow of a ship, and features salvage from local wrecks and nautical memorabilia. Enjoy a meal from our extensive Bistro-Bar menu in the spot of your choosing. Listen to live music from established local musicians every weekend and also on Tuesday and Thursday nights in the summer.
Located quayside, between our traditional bar and the historic ivy clad walls of King John’s Castle – is the Moorings Courtyard Bar.
This beautiful outdoor area is an ideal place to have something to eat from our extensive bistro-bar menu. Timber tables and booths allow for intimate gatherings and larger parties of guests. The garden is covered automatically when we’re showing matches on flat screen televisions – or for those not so sunny days… It’s also heated for when the nights get a bit colder.
At the weekends, it gets very lively, with the outdoor bar, twinkling fairy lights, live music, dancing and a DJ in the Beer Garden at weekends. Join us for the craic!
